Our Story

DuporDesign, Inc. was conceived as a technical production company while Stevan was an Electrical/Computer Engineering Student at NC State University. Stevan completed the Engineering Entrepreneurship Program, and graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and a B.S. in Computer Engineering in 2008. The concept for the company continued to develop over the next year, and DuporDesign, Inc. incorporated in 2009. Originally concentrating on performing arts, we provided technical support for a wide variety of theatrical shows, dance projects, opera, and some events.

Over the years, Stevan began selling design services for large events to several different (larger) production companies. As our experience, and client list grew, Stevan began to notice a niche market for a certain type of Special Event Production. He envisioned growing DuporDesign to become the production company both holds the resources to produce small to medium (50-500 attendees) events, yet remains small enough to concentrate on the precise execution of our client's events -- rather than being overwhelmed with basic logistics.

Today, DuporDesign, Inc. is proud to provide Lighting, Audio, and Video design and production for a wide variety of special events. We hold ourselves to a high standard of visual and auditory quality, and are proud to never accept "Good Enough."
